The website, now containing more than 140 pages, has been in existence for more than two years.

In that time many of the ambitions set have been fulfilled:

Display of event details to enable team managers, athletes, parents and coaches to be fully informed. This includes the posting of latest teams and, most invaluably, the confirmation of availability from within the website direct to team managers.

Inclusion of reference items enabling all to understand the format of the Association and the championships hosted and entered together with a diary of events and members’ contact details.

Showcasing the achievements of our athletes through event results and photographic galleries.

Construction of an honours section giving a chronological record of the Association’s achievements through lists of champions and records.

All menu tabs (all levels) to contain information in an easy to view design.

Somerset Schools Athletic Association’s aim is to promote and organise athletics for students in schools and colleges within the county.

It hosts championships and organises teams to regional and national championships in track and field, cross-country, combined events and race walking.
